Community update from your neighbourhood team

Dear Resident

Since our last update, we've continued working to tackle local concerns, support communities, and make our neighbourhoods safer. Here's a snapshot of some of that work.

Warrant executed

In October, your neighbourhood team executed a Section 23 warrant under the Misuse of Drugs Act on Garfield Street, Kettering. The team located a cannabis grow containing over 250 plants. One person has been arrested and charged for cultivation of a Class B drug cannabis.

Community surgeries

Officers hold regular surgeries across the area at community centres, libraries, and shared public spaces. Surgeries are advertised in advance via Northamptonshire Talking, our social media pages, and our force website, providing residents with the opportunity to speak to their local team in person and discuss any concerns.

PCSOs Mottley and Goodes recently visited the Shine Arts group at Burton Latimer to carry out a talk on online safety.

We recently attended the family explorer day in Kettering, spending time with local families and members of the community. Events like these are a great opportunity to engage with the community, answer questions, and listen to any concerns people may have about their local area. Thank you to everyone who came along to chat with us. We always enjoy meeting you and working together to help keep our communities safe.
